Alcoholic Anonymous meetings are scheduled for each week on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. at the Healing Lodge. Saturday meetings are also facilitated at the Burnt Swamp Baptist Building at 8:00 p.m.

Robeson County HIV/AIDS/Syphilis Taskforce meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month at 12:00 noon. For more information on location and description, please contact The Healing Lodge at 910-522-0900 or 1-866-522-0901.

Community Prayer Meeting held every Tuesday at The Healing Lodge at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is open to everyone who has prayer requests and feels a need to join together in prayer for our families, local community, state, nation and world.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Don Bartlette

“Macaroni at Midnight”

Dr. Don Bartlette is a full-time public speaker who travels extensively throughout the United States and Canada sharing several presentations that relate to his remarkable life story.

His major message, Macaroni at Midnight, is a profile of Dr. Bartlette’s experiences as an Indian child growing up with severe speech and physical handicaps in an environment of poverty, child abuse, family violence, racism and alcoholism. It has been presented over 5,000 times before local, state, national, and international audiences. Don’s story has been highlighted in two films, titled, When Nobody Loves You and Believing for the Best in You.

He is, by training, a social worker, a counselor, and an educator. Listed in International Men of Achievement and Who’s Who in the World, Don is comfortable addressing a wide variety of audiences and he frequently speaks at education, substance abuse, and corporate conventions.
